it's been a while since i've blogged. does anyone still read? probably not. you know why? cuz i don't really read other ppl's xangas or blogs. i could jump the bandwagon and start a xanga. oh but i feel so attached to my dear blog. it's been with me through so much. and that's the truth. :Þ

so what have i been up to the past month? absolutely nothing. and i'm loving it, except for the fact that i'm starting to go broke, so i need a job and FAST. anyway, other than that i've been doing things like organizing my closet by color (including the hangers! yes, i'm pathetically anal) and getting frustrated at our dialup modem at home. mm... oh yeah and i'm getting buff because i've been going to body sculpting class with mom and sis. that's fun but the next two weeks we don't have class so i'm gonna get flabby again. oh wait, i still am flabby! never mind.

okay this blog is definitely boring, so i'll stop here. come again! haha... if you even came once i'll be thankful.

top ten best moments from our camping trip to sleeping bear dunes national park:

dedicated to my camping buddies: tiffany, chi and dave

10. duct-taping our tent and canopy because we couldn't quite figure out how to set them up
9. climbing the 450 ft 70º steep sand dune - it took half an hour (for a while we weren't sure chi was gonna survive), but it was so worth it!
8. playing big 2 and whooping the other team with my royal flushes (losing was not quite as fun, especially with dave's trash talking...)
7. hearing a raccoon steal our garbage and then proceeding to let the guys clean it up for us, while tiffany and i stayed inside the tent.
6. waiting half an hour for water to boil, and many other joyous cooking adventures (like trying to get the gas stove to work, roasting corn, and our fried rice iron chef contest)
5. taking "senior" pictures out at empire bluffs
4. watching the sunset out on empire bluffs, and freezing to death while waiting for the stars to come out
3. hiking back to our car through the forest in pitch dark and seeing a coyote (those glowing eyes...)
2. roasting beetles in our campfire (don't worry, we didn't eat them. just s'mores!)
1. putting on 908578 layers of clothing (including socks on my hands!) to try to keep warm in our tent, only to be kept awake by my three snoring friends

other great moments:
stealing condiments and napkins from mcdonald's
tiffany's glow-in-the-dark tooth purchase
climbing the sleeping bear dunes (which was actually kind of anticlimatic after the 450 ft climb) and rolling down
the challenge of showering in 3 minutes
cleaning off the larvae growing on top of our canopy
detour at birch run
GORGEOUS sunshine all week!
