10. uh-huh - b2k (wow, i can tell this song must have such profound and poetic lyrics.)
9. my love don't cost a thing - jlo (oh REALLY? is that why you paid your ex-husband 3 million dollars?)
8. i'm a slave 4 u - britney (why couldn't we have gotten a slave that could spell?)
7. dirrty - christina aguilera (gee, you have a knack for stating the obvious.)
6. sk8er boi - avril lavigne (seriously, what's with all these girl artists with bad spelling and grammar?)

2. gone - nsync (sigh... if only they really WERE... actually, most of them have been for a while, dunno why they decided to change their name to "justin timberlake")
1. like i love you - justin (perhaps the only thing worse than an nsync song is hearing justin wail like he's just been kicked in the...)

Top Ten Things to Do on AIM When You're Bored:
(this list is also called "why AIM should be renamed AIS - AOL Instant Stalking")
10. quote incriminating messages that other people wrote in your profile in hopes to get a laugh or two from people who read your profile.
9. change the format of your screen name. for some reason we get a kick out of it when you change "Mei922" to "mE i 92 2".
8. write your entire day's schedule in your away message and then act surprised when someone runs into you, when actually you should be scared because that means they're REALLY stalking you.
7. pretend you're away when really, you're just stalking people.
6. let everyone know in your profile when you've updated your blog or xanga, so they can stalk you back.
5. write a clever away message in hopes someone will read it and respond to you so you'll have a message to read when you get back.
4. drag the arrow up and down your buddy list to check how long everyone has been idle or online (this occurs only moments before #3).
3. check everyone's away message...
2. ... and laugh heartily at the people who were just as bored as you and wrote funny or clever away messages too.
1. this is my personal favorite: watch the algonquin people sign off and on every two minutes - if you're lucky, maybe it'll be every minute even! (i had to turn of my door opening and slamming just because of you people!)
hope you liked my latest list! leave your comments. or, if you want, you can just stalk me. i know you're doing that anyway. [GRIN]

2. lachanophobia : fear of vegetables (you people better never watch veggietales or you'll get nightmares for the rest of your life!)
1. caligynephobia : fear of beautiful women (so that explains why everyone's afraid of me....)

top ten reasons why "While You Were Sleeping" is THE best romantic comedy:
10. No sexual overtones - it's rated PG! how rare is that these days?
9. No swearing - I think there were maybe two in the whole movie.
8. It's about ordinary people with ordinary jobs, not really rich trendy people who have the jobs everyone vies for. (notice how they're usually all in advertising or journalism or something chic like that?)
7. It's not in New York City (like pretty much every other rom-com)
6. It's during the winter! Love can happen in seasons other than spring.
5. The two main characters aren't your typical pretty blonde girl or handsome dark-haired guy, which suggests that anyone can fall in love, not just beautiful people.
4. The supporting cast is hilarious and have character development (which is why THE best scene is at the dinner table.)
3. The main characters spend time getting to know each other rather than jumping into bed in the first half hour. They fall in love because they know each other, not because they're lusting. (ewww...)
2. It's cute, sweet, and funny, but doesn't take itself too seriously. Sometimes when rom-com's get too serious, it's just not enjoyable anymore.
1. It's cheesy and unrealistic! What's a good rom-com that isn't? I mean, if someone thought you were the fiance of a guy in a coma, would you really let it get carried away for an hour and forty minute movie? I don't think so.
and that is why i've watched wyws more often than any other movie. and that's why i can recite pretty much any scene to you from memory. it's even scarier when you put me and my brother together. not only is while you were sleeping my favorite movie, it also has a lot of family memories and traditions. we try to watch it together at least twice a year. can you believe it's been almost ten years since its release? sigh... we're getting old.
ok, that's it from me. in the mean time, here's a question for all of you to answer: What is YOUR favorite romantic comedy? leave your answers in the blogout! =)

i think many people have questioned my strong aversion towards bananas. i know, i know, bananas are healthy, convenient, tasty (although i beg to differ)... but i just don't like 'em! i thought since i had aroused so much controversy about my hatred towards bananas, i should give a better explanation.
TOP TEN REASONS LAURA IS A BANANA-HATER:
10. bananas are mushy.
9. they're not juicy (don't give me none of this 70 percent water business... i don't buy it.)
8. they're not eaten cold. (i have this thing about cold fruit. i don't like it when my fruit aren't cold.)
7. they smell weird.
6. they taste weird.
5. the sound people make when they eat them is just GROSS.
4. they turn brown! (okay, so a lot of other fruit does too...and i have nothing against brown. my friend lindsay is brown! heehee)
3. artificially-flavored banana is the WORST flavor in candy ever. (notice all the yellow runts and laffy taffy's are always left? oh and don't even get me started on jelly belly's)
2. the peels are highly lethal weapons! (not that i've ever been a victim...i stay far away from anything that was ever part of a banana)
1. what kind of fruit doesn't have seeds? hmm???
and that, my friends, is why i do not like bananas.
thankyouhaveanicedaycomeagain! oh yeah, and comments are welcome if i've bruised any egos. heehee =)

i finally watched Lord of the Rings! (the first one, yes i know, i'm slow!)
my thoughts:
- why is frodo always so helpless? maybe it's those big eyes.
- and how come legolas is so much cooler than everyone else? is that fair? i don't think so. my favorite part is when he walks on the snow. that's pretty sweet. i wanna be able to do that. and of course he's a pretty boy. cool people just have to be pretty by default.
- speaking of that, we see the reinforcement of stereotypes about good-looking people and ugly people. as my brother commented on aragon (i spelled that wrong) - "you know he's trustworthy cuz he's goodlooking". and of course, the orcs are the ugliest things i've ever seen. lesson learned? beauty=good; ugly=bad/evil
- overall: a good movie. a bit long. especially because i watched it the day after i had only 3 hours of sleep (with no nap!) but i'm glad i finally got to watch it! now i'm just a little bit of a loser instead of a big one!
>> i got to do everything planned on my list for spring break! yay! daredevil gets 2 out of 4 stars... it was okay but not great... weak plot. praise night was good... =) asb, good, as i said before. shopping was fun, i got these really cute red shoes. heehee...
okay, i need to go do some work now. byee.
