29 hours and counting
yes folks, in 29 hours i will be in the presence of the backstreet boys. haha... did i mention that i was excited?
in other news - what the heck happened to DRQ?! this weekend it was playing really random music and then called itself "DOUG FM." at first i thought it was an april fool's joke but apparently it's no joke. today i read in the news that they fired all the dj's except Jay Towers, and the new station will be more like an "iPod shuffle" type of style, playing all these random songs and stuff. i guess this has been happening to a lot of stations around the country. DARN YOU, iPODS!
i was really sad because this is the first week i actually started listening to it again - they were playing my Boys' new song! sigh... i hope bsb is played elsewhere since drq got shut down. it's strange - even though i don't really listen to drq anymore i'm still kind of sad... i used to listen to it religiously back in high school. okay, so it was mostly to hear bsb but it exposed me to a lot of other top 40 music! it made me cool! hmm... nah, i was still a big dork. haha... but yeah, i just wanted to bring that up. guess i'll be tuning into 95.5 a lot more often...
can't wait for tomorrow!!!
