it's been a while since i've written a top ten, i thought this would be appropriate today. :)

top ten signs you know you are officially old:

10. you spend a significant amount of time talking and thinking about mortgage, bills, insurance,
etc. (except if you're part of the "year-off club" like me!)

9. most of your sentences start with: "remember when...?"

8. everything past midnight is hilarious because you're so tired by then

7. you can't get over the fact that the kids in high school these days were born in the 1990's

6. your friends are no longer living in the same square mile as you (sniff, sniff...)

5. you go to the library - for fun.

4. your response to everything is: "oh my gosh, we're so old!"

3. you reminisce about things that happened in the 90s (when oj was acquitted, when saved by the bell was on rerun every afternoon, when doc martins and babydoll dresses were cool, when teeny bopper music was hot, when the lion king was out in theaters...)

2. you know at least two or three couples who are either engaged, almost engaged, or planning their weddings even though they're not yet engaged.

1. every conversation you have somehow finds its way to talking about relationships/marriage/dating (this is an actual fact. those of you who are still young, you'll know what i mean in a few short years.)
