Lord of the Rings

so i finally got through the lotr trilogy right before school started. i think i had a bit of an overload though... because now i keep seeing flashes of the movies in my head! argh...

ANYway, if you're a guy, you probably think the movies are cool cuz of the long action sequences and great special effects. if you're a girl, you probably fell in love with legolas and/or aragorn right from the beginning. well, if you're ME... you try to find as much wrong with these "hotties" as you can. hehe... hence, here is my tribute to legolas, aka orLANdo (the LAN must be spoken in a high falsetto voice, as if to swoon).

disclaimer: okay, so it's not that i don't like legolas. he's actually quite cool and charming. not to mention that long blondish whitish hair that never seems to get dirty or tangled despite the constant fighting... but anyway, if you understand me, you'll understand my sarcasm. so, ladies, go ahead and swoon. i won't criticize. :)

:classic legolas quotes from the Lord of the Rings movies:

"this forest is old... very old. full of... memories... and anger."

"it is not the Eastern Shore that worries me. a shadow of threat grows in my mind. something draws near, I can feel it."

"you would die before your sword fell!"

"the red sun rises [in the east]. blood has been spilled this night."

*so i was just informed that "in the east" isn't actually in the quote. either way it's a funny quote dontcha think? :)

translation to fauning girls watching movie = "ohhh, he's smart AND he's hot! oh legolas!" *swoon, swoon.

real translation = "i'm so hot i don't need to say anything that makes sense and girls will still swoon."
